In front of the hotel, there are quality waves for surfing; the best conditions are at high tide and waves up to shoulder height, in addition to being little frequented by surfers. Nearby are world-class waves, recognized worldwide for their quality where it has hosted Olympic, World Surf League, and ISA competitions, such as Punta Roca, El Sunzal, La Bocana, El Cocal, El Zonte, and K.59, among others. Additionally, all of the previous surf spots are accessible within a 30-minute to 1-hour drive.
